sorry this is kind of rambly and long i just wanted to say hi and ask you what all you "knew" about my new neighbors.
i loved reading through some of your blog. i lived in asia for about a year back in 2001 very near where it looks like you live and it has been a fun blast to the past! i remember the bus snacks like corn and asian pears! in fact, i carried a pocket knife with me so i could peel the skin off and snack on the freshness as well! and though the sweet corn sold by the street vendors is probably not the cleanest, it is delicious!!
if you were in CM riding those elephants than i think i have been to the same place!!! and have friends who were there at the same time you were! if you know what i mean... ;)
anyhow, i will stop writing on here and hope to hear from you if you get a chance to write! if not, that's cool, i hope you have a wonderful time spreading the light
